UP voters have exhibited perfect maturity by relieving the state from blackmail-politics of alliance by giving BSP-supremo Mayawati absolute majority to form single-party government in UP. It is a positive sign in Indian politics that Mayawati rose above caste-politics to gain power with combined votes of upper and lower casts.

It is interesting to note that Mulayamsingh Yadav has played his parting cards by forwarding CBI-letter for probe against new-coming Chief Minister in infamous Taj Corridor scandal to the governor, thus provoking Mayawati for initiating probes for scams and scandals of Mulayamsingh regime. It is a blessing in disguise for public that politicians expose their rivals in politics. Mulayamsingh Yadav’s frustration of defeat will cost him even more with his immature attack on Election Commission. Maturity demanded some appropriate opportunity for Mulayamsingh Yadav to raise Taj corridor issue by approaching court or even CBI or by utilising ‘Right-To-Information Act’ to corner Mayawati at some later time in his capacity as a normal citizen. But his present untimely attack is perhaps a threat to Mayawati so that she may not order probe in various scams and scandals of Mulayamsingh’s corrupt-most regime including even judges of higher courts.
