BULL SPARED IN LONDON AND COW SLAUGHTER IN KERALA CONTINUES

BULL KILLING NOT ALLOWED IN LONDON

High Court in London has honoured sentiments of Hindu community by not allowing killing of a bull infected with tuberculosis. But in India with Hindu-majority population, ban on cow-slaughter is only a state-subject thus allowing states like Kerala hurting religious sentiments of Hindus by allowing cow-slaughter there. Constitution should be amended to make cow-slaughter a subject of centre rather than states to impose nationwide ban on cow-slaughter keeping in view of religious sentiments of majority-population.
