Supreme Court has moved in right direction to make Mulayamsigh Yadav explain source of accumulated wealth by himself and family-members during his political regime. Not only he may be arrested in case misappropriation proved, but also Income-Tax Department should exercise its option to purchase property at 10-percent above the book-value. It is time that exemption on agriculture/farm income may be abolished which is misused by political rulers to whiten their black income/money. Action will make Mulayam exposing rival politicians for similar black deeds.

Reports on electronic-media indicate victimisation of the petitioner Vishwanath Chaturvedi by Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) at behest of UP Chief Minister. Supreme Court should also provide a security-cover to the petitioner by ordering judicial enquiry into LDA's mid-way cancellation of plot/house allotted to Vishwanath Chaturvedi.
