Nandurbar (Maharashtra): Shri Ganeshbhai Sonar, owner of Amar Theatre here had cooperated HJS previously in non-screening of anti-National and anti-Hindu movie 'Slumdog Millionaire’. The movie has become tax free since it has earned Oscar award. In spite of this Shri Sonar has taken a decision not to screen the said movie and has thus actively supported the HJS campaign

Hasan (Karnataka): Dharmajagruti Sabha is being organized by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) on 28th of this month in Hasan and Shri. Pramod Mutalik, President of Sriram Sena is going to be one of the speakers for which the Muslims from there are opposing. An application is submitted by ‘Jay Karnataka Sangh’ District Minority section to the Collector requesting him to disallow the speech by Shri. Mutalik. It has been mentioned in the application that Hindus, Christians and Muslims in Hasan were having friendly relations. Under the name of Dharmajagruti there might be criticism on other religions and they might be abused in the Sabha.

Mumbai: A tense situation was formed in the morning here in Rabodi area of Thane following a misunderstanding about the trampling of ‘Koran’ while dispersing roadside vendors. This news spread like a wild fire and local shops were closed for some period to protest the incidence. However the police immediately rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Land-grabbers illegally capture Hindu temple in Karachi

Karachi (Pakistan): A historical temple of 'Lord Shiva' has been illegally captured by some builders in the Jamshed Town area of Karachi.

According to The Daily Times, the temple which was built in the late 1930's, was spread over two acres of land. Now, only a small piece of land is with the temple trust, while the rest has been captured.
