Dear Hindu Brothers and Sisters:



On the eve of New Year, we, the members of Indian American Intellectuals Forum (IAIF) have solemnly resolved:



· That we will try our best to reinvigorate and revitalize Hindu Society;

· That we will work selflessly and ceaselessly for the betterment of Hindu Samaj;

· That we will spend our time, energy, money and other resources in the services of Hindu Nation;

· That we will stand up, raise our voice against any injustice done to Hindu people;

· That we will seek cooperation, and cooperate with any organization and association working for the unity and consolidation of Hindu Society;

· That we will not do anything that will create rift in the members of Hindu Samaj;

· That we will not do anything that weakens or divides Hindu people;

· That we will not relax till Hindu Nation attains pinnacles of glory;

· That we consider all the Hindu as equal.

ACHIEVEMENTS



Indian American Intellectuals Forum ("IAIF") was
established in March 1999 under the laws of the State
of New York . IAIF is a not-for-profit organization.
The aims and objectives of IAIF are as under: (i) to
strengthen Indo-American relations, (ii) to organize
seminars and symposiums/protests on the issues
affecting India and America, and (iii) to educate
Indian Americans as to how they can work together to
bring about a strong, distinguished and a prosperous
India. Act as a bridge between Indian American and
Indian public.



Some of our accomplishments are listed below:



DANGEROUS MOVE TO ISLAMIZE INDIA



Mr. Arjun Singh, Human Resources Development Minister has concluded an agreement with Saudi Arabian government under which a few billion dollars will be given to Jamia Milia University in Delhi to establish an Arabic Center . Under the terms of this agreement, hundreds of Arabs will come to India to propagate Arabism and Islam. We are in the process of signing a petition to the Prime Minister of India to dismiss Mr. Arjun Singh from his Cabinet. The Petition has been signed by about 500 people. In a couple of days, it will be sent to the Mr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India. The Petition could be viewed and signed at:

LETTER TO PRESIDENT OF INDIA TO RESTORE THE PHRASE 'SATYAMEVA JAYATE' UNDERNEATH THE NATIONAL EMBLEM.



Mr. Ramesh Gathoria, Director (Research Wing), IAIF did a lot of research work and found out that on more than 150 Government of India websites/documents the phrase " Satyameva Jayate" has been surreptitiously removed. On December 29, 2006, we wrote a letter to the President of India to restore the phrase "Satyameva Jayate" underneath the National Emblem. Copies of this letter have been sent to many MPs, important Hindu leaders and 30-40 newspapers in India and USA .







ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN THE SYMPOSIUM ON TERROR IN LAS VEGAS



On November 10-11, 2006, IAIF participated in the Symposium organized by America's Truth Forum. Dr. Babu Suseelan, a Clinical Psychologist from Pennsylvania, and a Board Member of IAIF, presented Hindu Perspective on Terror which was very well appreciated by mostly Christian and Jewish experts on Islamic Studies and Counter-terrorism. We have been invited by "Intelligence Summit ", an organization which organizes educational seminars on terrorism and invites FBI, CIA and world-renowned experts on terrorism, to participate in the discussions and enlighten the experts with regard to the barbarities committed by Islamic terrorists on Hindus. This Conference is being held in March at St. Petersburgh, Florida.




TWELFTH HINDU SANGATHAN DIVAS (HINDU UNITY DAY)

IAIF, in cooperation with several Hindu associations,
successfully celebrated Twelfth Hindu Sangathan Divas
in New York, on August 12, 2006, in which more than
700 Hindus participated. Pujya Sadhvi Ritambhara ji
was the Keynote Speaker and Dr. Subramanian Swamy was
the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The following resolution which has the potential of
having a far reaching impact on the Indian polity was
passed unanimously by voice vote:

IT IS HEREBY UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED THAT A HINDU
POLITICAL PARTY BE FORMED IN INDIA. THE AIM OF THIS
POLITICAL PARTY WOULD BE TO SAFEGUARD HINDU INTEREST,
PRESERVE HINDU CHARACTER OF INDIA, AND ULTIMATELY
CAPTURE POLITICAL POWER.

ANTI-TERROR PROTEST OUTSIDE PAKISTAN CONSULATE

IAIF staged a boisterous demonstration outside the
Pakistan Consulate in New York City on July 27, 2006
in which more than 80 demonstrators vociferously
participated.


The purpose of this protest was to express shock,
anguish and outrage at the 7/11 Bombay bomb blasts in
which more than 200 innocent men, women and children
were blown to bits, more than 800 persons were badly
wounded, thousands of families suffered unprecedented
trauma, and millions of dollars worth of property was
destroyed, allegedly by Islamic terrorists.


SEMINAR – THE UNDERLYING ROOTS OF TERRORISM:
TERRORISM'S THREAT TO WORLD PEACE AND NATIONAL
SECURITY


America 's Truth Forum hosted a symposium on the above
subject on April 29th, 2006 at Washington, D.C. The
seminar was addressed by the following experts on
Islam and counter-terrorism experts: Dr. Andrew
Bostom, David Horowitz, Dr. Harvey Kushner, Dr. Paul
Williams, Brigitte Gabriel, Joseph Kaufman, Laura
Mansfield, Whalid Shoebat, Dr. Bruce Tefft and others.
IAIF was represented by one of our Director, Dr.
Babu Suseelan. He talked about the Hindu Perspective
on Terror which was widely appreciated.


SEMINAR - HOW TO COUNTER GLOBAL TERRORISM


A Seminar titled "How to Counter Global Terrorism" was
held on December 4, 2005 in New York . It was
addressed by Dr. Paul Williams, a former Consultant
to FBI and Mr. Jeff Epstein, President, America 's
Truth Forum.


SEMINAR - INDIA UNDER SIEGE


IAIF organized a seminar titled " INDIA UNDER SIEGE" on
March 5, 2005 . This Seminar was addressed by more
than 25 community leaders.


SEMINAR ON "DEMOCRACY VS. TERRORISM"

To create awareness in the masses, we organized a
conference on April 16, 2000 that was addressed, among
others, by Congressman Benjamin Gilman, Chairman of
the International Relations Committee. The title of
the conference was: Democracy vs. Terrorism.

MEETING WITH STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIALS

On December 7, 1999 , we were invited by State
Department. We met Mr. Wong, Mr. Richard D. Haynes,
India Desk Officer, and other State Department
officials and requested them to declare Pakistan a
Terrorist State .
