MY TAKE ON ARTICLE BY GAUTIER ON MAYAWATI'S SUSCCESS

A well written article. However, please note that Indians do not respect other Indians as much as they respect a white person. You travel by Air INDIA and if you are a white person, you get the best treatment. If you are an Indian you are just ignored. Same thing happens in India. You are an Indian NRI or whatever and you may be a billionnaire visiting Delhi and you will never get the special treament which even a poor looking white man/woman will get in India, and an Indian looking person cannot even imagine it.

I think India would not have even become slave to the British if this mentality which was there then and still persists. Same way an Indian employed by an Indian will not get the same treatment as a white employee.

As anyone white or anything coming from whites is superior to the Indians. We also have an old UP saying that GHAR KO JOGI JOGIA AAN GAON KO SIDDH, I.E. the saint from our own home/village is just a mendicant but from another village is a Siddha.

What are you going to do with this mentality and Indian psyche, Mr. Gautier, please advise. Keep it up; you are doing an excellent job and God bless.
