A truly accomplished singer, composer and playwright, Koshi Lalvani is the wife of a Dubai-based prominent Sindhi businessman, Lal Lalvani, and the daughter of Kavi Naraindas Mankani. Music has been in her veins since early childhood. She was intensively trained in music, initially by her father and later by Shrimati Sharda Muni of Allahabad.

Koshi has several valuable releases to her credit, viz. "Surhaan", "Lado Laadi Aneedo", "Shradhananjali", "Bhakti-Dhara" and a unique collection of Sindhi Nursery Rhymes "Gulran-Ja-Geet", which was later filmed and released in DVD format.

In recognition of the truth that our young generation needs to be attracted to –and involved- in Sindhi music, famous Sindhi singer Koshi Lalvani becomes the first to produce a dedicated CD of Sindhi Pop Songs, keeping today’s Sindhi youth in mind. "NACH-NACH” has all new original songs full of ZEST that will rock your body, mind and soul.

"Jaag Sindhi Jaag"

Her last album, "Jaag Sindhi Jaag", thrilled and indeed captured the hearts of the Sindhi world. Tremendous success of this album encouraged her to produce a magnificient “Sindhi ballet” under same title. This too received thunderous applause during its performances in Dubai, Mumbai and Delhi. Efforts are afoot to produce a feature film based on this ballet. The project will be launched Very soon.

“Song of Sindhu Hindu” -

Yet another of the myriad facets of this artist unfolded as Koshi wrote lyrics, composed and sung the ancient song of the Hindu clan of the Sindh, originally composed by Bharat, the 19th Karkarta (or the Elected Supreme Chief) of the Hindu clan in Sind from 5106 BC and first sung 7000 years ago. This CD has melodious songs in Sindhi and Hindi, together with chanting of Om mantras, and musical accompaniment.



Now this CD is available in Sindhi also. CD begins with a greeting from Ram Jethmalani, affectionately known as Sindhu Ratan in the Sindhi community Koshi has undying dedication towards the cause of reviving Sindhi culture & heritage.
